Following the game, Pandya reflected on Mumbai Indians loss and pointed out the lack of momentum as a major cause of their inability win. Although they had a strong start to their match, Pandya acknowledged that his team was unable to sustain the same determination and focus throughout the game.
“Obviously we were able to take on those 42 runs, however, it’s one of those days that we can see that the score was lower than what could have been scored in just five overs. I would say we lost a amount of momentum,” said Pandya in her post-match speech.
